The Pro Loco of Luras is a non-profit association that promotes and enhances the local area, its culture and its traditions. Over time it has become a point of reference for anyone who wants to discover and experience Luras in all its facets.
We organise events, festivals and activities that celebrate the beauty of the village, its history and traditions, and foster a sense of community: from culture to music, from food and wine to folk festivals, for residents and visitors alike.
We are also a point of reference for social and charitable initiatives, working closely with the other local associations and with the institutions. All this is possible thanks to our members and the many volunteers who give their passion and commitment every year.

Luras
Luras lies in the heart of Gallura, in the north of Sardinia, among hills covered with Mediterranean scrub and cork oak woods. Its territory is home to the dolmens of Ladas, Billella, Alzoledda and Ciuledda and to the thousand-year-old wild olive trees, among the oldest trees in Europe.
A few kilometres away lies Lake Liscia, a destination for walks and trekking. The traditions of Luras live on in its folk festivals, costumes, music and cuisine, and every year they draw visitors looking for the most authentic Sardinia.
